Jamie Graham

There was a hive of activity on Maria Island. Third year Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) students were taking a close look above and below the surface of the island.

One of these students was Jamie Graham. As well as studying marine biology, Jamie is a cultural educator for Nita Education, a climate change activist, and a pakana man intent on making a positive difference. It was inspiring hearing his story of culture, science, family and passion on the island he calls wukaluwikiwayna.
