Hay to Bourke

From the vast treeless plains of Hay to the famed Back O’ Bourke. The past two weeks we have tracked north through western NSW.

The drought, plus questionable long term management of these important inland river systems, has hit the area hard. Feral species compete with native animals for scarce food and water. Despite the harsh environment, there are wonderful people to meet and spectacular outback scenes to soak up.
