From further south on our journey we’d heard about the remarkable fishery structures on the Barwon River at Brewarrina.
From Bourke we took an easterly detour to our original route north just to find our more about them. In this video Bradley Hardy from the Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum explains the use and significance of the fish traps to the Aboriginal tribes of this area.
