Bourke to Roma
As we travel north in this video update we cross the New South Wales / Queensland border. This imaginary line means the people we meet support different rugby league teams!
From the dusty paddocks of the drought stricken NSW river channels we now see green grass and healthier trees everywhere. This has all come from recent rains across large sections of outback Queensland. Roma is famed for having the biggest cattle saleyard in the Southern Hemisphere and around here it is a mixture of lightly forested and cleared land. Keep an eye out at the very end of the video for a shot of the iconic bottle tree.
